“ I tried Ajos y Cebollas years ago when they first opened. So I stoped by today because I was craving a caffe de Olla. They did not disappoint. The coffee was authentic served with carmelized melted sugar (piloncillo). I ordered the machaca plate that came with refried bean and Mexican style potato's Como Tia made it. I started with a bowel of Fedeo soup. Like my Tia Carmen's. I also tried there capeotada. The capeotada was fancier than my Tia Carmela's. It was very good. Drizzled with chocolate and strawberry and peanuts and Carmel. Not too rich. I also tried there rice. The rice was very flaky and had good flavor. plan to return. It's worth the try. The only thing that was a negative would be the meal portion was a bit small for the price. You may not think so if you eat small portions. ”
